Food for Thought
salam & morning peeps!
lately i'm having difficulty to focus in the class. why? the reason is quite simple, because i'm freaking sleepy. LOL. lack of sleep nowadays. its the main culprit! before this, i used to sit at the front (normally opposite the lecturer. haha), but now, i have to sit at the middle or at the back, so that i can get some rest *you know what i mean XD*. quite stressful because i was like " huh? what? i don't recall what was being said by the lecturer". now that's not good! luckily, i'm not the type of person who reallied a lot on the lecturer's talks to get my knowledge. yeah, lucky me. books are still the best way to enhance my knowledge.
yesterday, i have a class with Mr.Nizam. he's a cool lecturer. simple, superb explanation, funny etc..i don't feel sleepy at all in his class. haha. in fact, i loved going to his class. after he's done with his teachings yesterday, he showed us some hadith and told us some story. i can't recall the full version of it, but more or less it sounded like this:
1. in this world, no matter how much we loved our parents, one day they're going to leave us.
2. if we loved our child so much, one day he/she will also leave us.
3. no matter how big our house is/how much money we possessed, at the end of the day, its going to be the same with everyone else when we die. *go figure*.
4. this world is only a testing ground for us, its temporary.
5. the world is coming to an end, nowadays doing the right things is considered wrong and vice versa. *go figure*, look at your surroundings, and you'll get what i mean.
now, everything he told us yesterday was right. he even gave us a lot of examples. i have to go now but before i go, please read this and think =)
a) " mujahadah itu pahit, kerana syurga itu manis. Nafsu itu tampak indah, sedangkan neraka itu tidak terperi azabnya"
b) "tinggal dunia, tinggal segala. Hanya amalan jadi teman bicara"
